Naked 3 - Urban Decay
20:38Naked 3 - Urban Decay
As like Naked 2, Naked 3 comes with a double ended (cruelty-free) blending brush and flat brush. This is very useful, especially when you are traveling and do not want to carry lots of make-up brushes. It also comes with 4 samples of eye Primer Potions which include: Original, Eden (nude matte), Sin (shimmer), and Anti-Aging. All of which are very good and help to keep your eye-shadow on so much longer, without creasing. I love sin because it adds a supple shimmer to any shadow and allows your shadow to stay on all day.
Also similar to Naked 2 there is a large mirror inside the case, which is a hard, sturdy shell that is likely to keep your shadows safe.
Naked 3 has a range of 12 colours that are prominently pink toned. However, it does also have quite brown/copper colours, as well as a deep black with beautiful red glitter pigments.
From left to right;
Strange - satin-matte vanilla, really good as a highlighter (in the corner of the eyes, or browbone) or just as a base.
Dust - Large glitter pigments, with a pink undertone. Best results when applying a few layers of the shadow, or applying it wet.
Burnout - Light pink finish, shimmer/satin. For a more intense look apply wet.
Limit - Matte shade and a very light pink. Very nice to wear for a 'naked' look.
Buzz - Super shimmery with a more intense pink colour. Although, can leave a residue of sparkles on the face so just sweep away with foundation brush, or conceal after. Quite small glittery pigments, which helps to blend.
Trick - A copper shade of the palette. It shimmers perfectly and is very nice for the outer corners. Still has a slight peachy tone.
Nooner - Very pretty matte peach colour. Nice to use on the crease of the eye, as it is very blend-able and makes a good transition colour.
Liar - Less intense copper colour, but easily intensified by build-up. Quite a frosty looking shade due to the lightness.
Factory - Darker brown and less coppery. A warm tone, and also shimmery, but does not show up frosty on the eye.
Mugshot - Again quite coppery but darker than trick. Warm brown with a shimmer finish.
Darkside - Very pigmented dark brown that is lovely used as an eyeliner. Deep brown with a wet finish.
Blackheart - Very pretty dark black with red shimmers lovely to use on the outer-corners, and great for an ombre look.
I have also included a few more images just to show the shadows a bit closer up!
Overall, I am very impressed with the Naked 3 palette and I think it suits perfectly to my skin tone, but it just depends on what people like, and if they like pink-toned palettes. As always with Naked palettes the shadows are very pigmented and are easily blendable, and of course are of super high quality. They also work very well with the Real Technique brushes. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who can work with pink tones, because all 12 shades are beautiful.
If you have Naked 2 and love it like me, I actually would recommend buying this one aswel, because the colours are so different. In my opinion there is a lot of differences between the two palettes.
Hope you have enjoyed this post, let me know your opinions!
